A Beautiful Day all Around

Today we went to the Baptism service the church has once a year at a river near Matka (where Jeff and I went on our Anniversary). The internet said it was going to rain, but there was hardly a cloud in the sky and it was so beautiful to see new believers being baptized and to see the joy on their faces. There was a picnic afterwards and Jeff got to play a little "football" and I got to just sit and talk and get a pretty bad sunburn.

The first picture was taken when we were walking to the river today- -if there is one thing we would love to change about Macedonia it would be all the garbage everywhere- -most people just dump it wherever they want and there are no consequences. The second picture is as we gathered at the edge of the river to watch 5 people get baptized. Praise the Lord for their decision to follow through with baptism and make their faith public! It really was a great day! Pray that there will be many, many more Macedonians who will truly believe!
