We've been here 9 months and we have learned a lot so far....I have now successfully made a cup of Turkish coffee for my neighbor!!! In her words "Bravo Amy!"....That is a step, small as it may seem. Jeff even made a peach cobler (without my help) the other day. He was so proud, he gave some to our landlords who at first were leary to say the least. However, they were very complimentary and now Jeff's head is just a little bit bigger!!! : ) Anyways, it has been a fun and challenging time so far and we look forward to the day when we are fluent in the language, the culture, and cooking from scratch! : )
