On Thanksgiving Day we had our neighbors and Ole from the sweet shop over for a huge feast. After two full days of cooking and learning to cook 3 turkeys in paper bags (they got progressively better)- -we were worn out! And, we were a little worried that they would just pick at it, but they really enjoyed it! (So much so that they passed on the bread- -Macedonians never pass up bread!) Their favorite dish was the dressing and gravy, with the sweet potatoes in second. However, they were not fans of the pumpkin pie and the pumpkin cheesecake. Oh well, more for us! Today we had our American Thanksgiving with friends- -we ate good! We missed our family, but we had a great holiday and we truly are thankful!
