What's in a Name?

Well, we took a shopping trip to Greece a few days back and although the first picture may not be impressive, it was taken from the inside of our car! Yeah! We are so excited (and blessed) to say goodbye to public transport which in all honesty is seriously lacking in Skopje. It is called a Skoda Roomster (named for it's roominess).

Not sure how much it gets talked about on the other side of the ocean, but the name of the country we live in is a heated debate (and has been for 16 years now)! Our neighbors to the south who refer to it at FYROM, will not be happy until the name is changed. The Northern region of Greece is also called Macedonia. They have threatened to veto entry into NATO and the EU if Macedonia does not make the change. Do we have any friends? : )

I had no idea they were changing the name of Macedonia! Thank you for keeping me informed of international current events. :)

Yay for the new car! I know that must allow you guys some great freedom to go where and when you want to.

I love reading your updates. We're praying for y'all!
