Not sure how many of you have heard of the Ice Cream Ball, but it has been a great gift (my parent's gave it to us for Christmas). We are watching the Kirkpatrick kids right now and they enjoyed making home-made ice cream while shaking themselves silly (that is why the picture is so blurry)! Thanks mom and dad!

Hey do you have to have rock salt for the ice cream ball?
We looked at one but wondered about that. One order for chocolate chip ice cream please.
We have not tried it without rock salt- -I think it would work without it, but you would probably have to add more ice along the way and shake it longer.
