Happy August!

You know sometimes it seems life can be summed up in a song I learned when I was 4 or so. God is so good....He's so good to me....He loves me so.....and it's not because all my plans work the way I thought they would. It is because He is God. His plans are so much better. I really want to share two things with you....

-Jeff and I are in the adoption process here in Macedonia. We have told a few of you, but we were waiting for our home study to be approved to make it public. Well, our home study has been approved and is being sent to Vienna today. From there, we get approval from DHS and then the fun part begins...and this is where we really need your prayers for the Macedonian side of things. They are telling us that when we get all of our paperwork turned in (that has been translated into Macedonian) it should take 6 months to a year (to be approved for a child). Pray that we would find favor with the government here and that God would lead us to the right child. Pray that as we wait, we will trust Him to work it all out.

-Early this week we got an email from a pastor in Belgrade, Serbia with a Baptist church there. He is originally from Prilep and he told us that two of his relatives in Prilep are believers and are really in need of fellowship. We called them on Wednesday and went to their house later that day. Not only are they believers, but they know of two more and they want to start meeting all together to study the Bible. How amazing is God?!!! We are going to meet with all of them this Sunday. We are amazed and thankful for this blessing!

Daniel and I will definitely be praying for you and Jeff as you work your way through the adoption process! That is really exciting!

Wow! That's great. God does provide for His children...with a community of faith as well as help with paper work!
