Happy Ilinden!

Today is Ilinden Day and it is a major holiday here and everything is closed. See history lesson a few blogs ago! What is funny to me is that it is a bigger holiday than their actual Independence Day in September. We have had some relief from the extreme heat, but still no rain- -but it is in the forecast. Pray that it will happen!

About a week ago we met Ole's mother at the sweet shop and she is the sweetest 81 year old you'll ever meet (my grandma's not that old yet!) We had another good conversation with her today and the funniest part was when she was talking and then asked if we both understood and then she told Jeff not to worry that I would explain it to him later! : )

Thank you for praying for us and for the Macedonian people. Please pray specifically for Ole and Maya!
