Today we went to see a movie and it was a Belgian movie in French with Macedonian subtitles ..no English whatsoever and we understood about 90% of it. Granted it was a kid's movie with a very shallow, simple plot...but it was an accomplishment for us. We celebrate the small victories these days! : )
Just to clear something up....it has come to my attention that some people might be misinformed that Macedonian food is unappetizing due to a couple of pictures I have taken...but today I ate a hamburger and french fries that were quite tasty. Not to worry, this country is great for meat and potato lovers and the stuffed peppers really tasted better than they looked...promise! Here is a more appetizing picture for you!
