The past 4 months or so...

I have to admit that it's embarrassing to look back and see that I haven't posted on this blog since February.  How is half of the year over already?  God continues to work and there is so much to update on.  Right now I'll just give you some of the highlights.

Since I wrote last we distributed the seed packets with New Testaments in four different villages.  We were able to sit in homes and drink coffee and have gone back to one village in particular several times to follow up.  Continue to pray with us that we will see fruit in these places.

In February and March our team here in Prilep launched a dual outreach series on parenting and the basics of the Faith.  Both were well attended.  In the meantime we also hosted our annual Women's Day outreach.  Through those 3 things, God has blessed us and we have over 15 people involved in 2 new Bible Studies that have started from those events.  Praise the Lord!

We had my (Amy's) parents with us for Maggie's birthday and for Easter.  It was a great visit with them and April is always one of my favorite months as we are in so many homes and we have more opportunities to share about the Hope that we have in Jesus.

In May we had a couple come from America and lead a great parenting seminar and we continued with the Evangelistic Bible studies of Hope.

June was packed full of volunteer teams and following up.  Jeff's college roommate (who is a Pastor) came and brought a team from Arkansas to work in an elementary school in one of the villages.  Then, we had a group from Texas come and lead training in a couple of the local elementary schools in Prilep.
Like I said those are just some of the highlights.  The great news is God is working and we are thrilled to be a part of what He is doing here in Prilep.

Thank you so much for your prayers for us and the Macedonians and for checking this blog of ours even though our updates are few and far between.
